Research Staff Member
Dr. Hui Wu is a research staff member at MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab. Prior to that, she was a research staff member at the computer vision and multimedia department at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Her recent interest includes visual reasoning, neural-symbolic learning, and language+vision. She is also interested in applying machine learning to creative applications. She previously worked with designers from Fashion Institute of Technology, using visual analysis algorithms to enhance designers’ creative processes, which produced designs for Tommy Hilfiger. She is an organizer of the workshop on “Computer Vision for Fashion, Art and Design” at ECCV 2018, ICCV 2019 and CVPR 2020.
