Seungwook Han

Seungwook Han is a research software engineer at the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab. His current research focuses on building towards human-like visual reasoning and neuro-symbolic AI.

Prior to joining the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, he received his B.A. in Computer Science-Statistics at Columbia University and graduated with a magna cum laude. At Columbia, he worked as a research assistant at the Creative Machines Lab with Professor Hod Lipson and the Posner Lab with Professor Jiook Cha. There, he investigated deep neural networks’ intermediate representations and built large-scale models for multi-modal neuroimaging and genomics data.
