Ramon Fernandez Astudillo

Ramon Astudillo is a research staff member at IBM Research AI at the T. J. Watson research center in Yorktown Heights, New York. Before this, he was senior research scientist at Unbabel and associate researcher at INESC-ID in Lisboa. He started from signal processing, then speech recognition and then natural language processing. He also picked up deep learning. Astudillo is currently motivated by research on artificial and crowd intelligence. He received his PhD from TU Berlin.
