Scott McFaddin is an AI engineer with IBM Research. Prior to joining the MIT-IBM Watson AI lab, he worked as a research staff member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, leading projects in electronic commerce and mobile computing, as well as hyper-local demand sensing. His research interests include artificial intelligence business solutions and quantum computing, with a particular focus on interpretability and predictive models which anticipate human choices and actions. He graduated from Purdue University with a PhD in computer science, and additionally hold MS degrees in both mathematics and computer science.
