Who they work with
Yikang Shen is a Research Staff Member in MIT-IBM Watson Lab. During his Ph.D. study in the Mila lab at the University of Montreal, he receives the ICLR 2019 best paper award. His research focuses on the fundamental mechanisms that allow deep learning methods to understand the latent structure of human language and model its compositional phenomenons. The goal is to improve deep learning models’ robustness, interpretability, and compositional generalization.
