Patrick Rall is a research scientist with IBM working on quantum algorithms, quantum compilers, and quantum error correction. He obtained his PhD in physics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021, where he was advised by Scott Aaronson. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at the California Institute of Technology, where he studied physics and computer science under John Preskill.
